In the original movie (yes the Nick Cage one is a remake which I have not seen) The car thieves would receive an "order" for a specific car and would assign it a woman's name so they could talk about it. The original Eleanor was a 1973 Mach 1. It was bright yellow with the black out hood. I still lust after this car
