That shouldn't be too hard to do...think about it. There isn't a law enforcement agency in this country that would not lose out on a lot of revenue if pot were legalized. Truth be told, there are a whole lot of law enforcement officers that did or do smoke the stuff themselves, and if ever pressed on the subject would tell you in a heartbeat that pot would be better legalized than beer or hard liquor.
Should have been legalized long ago, if only we as a people were not so weak and have not done enough to demand it. Again - a low priority, so nobody is going to go to the wall for it and risk everything else they own to fight for it. Makes me wonder what if Prohibition were to happen again (it won't) - what kind of priority would that be today? And how on Earth would we justify that?
