I'm not much of a socializer but I would like to share my experiance with one of the few groups I have ever belonged to. I recently won a battle with cancer. I would like to say never give up hope but really its all in the cards. It will either kill you or it won't. Rather my message is about whats important. When you are about to loose all it certainly puts things into perspective. Don't get upset when faimily and friends that ****** you off because in the end that is all you have. You loose your job, get another one. Bike/Car won't start it will eventually. Its only an inconvience. Snow or rain won't stop wait it will. Take stock in what you want to do and do it. Turn off the T.V.. Most of all enjoy life because its finite and that finallity could be just around the corner. I have always enjoyed riding bikes but I am a poor mechanic, so I entered a college programme on motorcycle mechanics and its become a passion. That's were you come in my bike is all apart now as I apply the lessions learned here. Bear with me when I ask some redundant questions, which are probably in the archives or very elementary.

Ask away mate. I've always worked on my own vehicles out of necessity, so I've learned a bit.

Glad you beat it. I see you are near family of mine in Mississauga and Waterdown. I may visit with them in July. Any recommended places to ride? And what do you know of B.E.S.T. ride? http://www.geocities.com/bestridecanada/

Well two years ago and in March to be exact I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. I caught it really quick and had the dreaded surgery. I have attended as an outpatient getting my blood checked. I visit a hospital where some folk you see and I just know they were/are never going to get better. The entire experience changed me I was a workaholic but now I make time for what is important to me. Now I cannot abide people who get lost in the small stuff of life. I am glad that you are another survivor. We are a "breed apart". What would I say to any fellow BA members who read this, dont pity me. Guys take a couple of minutes in the shower have a wee check downstairs if you find anything go to the doctors. Testicular cancer has one of the highest recovery rates of all. Look on the bright side even when people are on diets you can always say well I am already one stone lighter. Be positive, be well. To all sufferers any where livestrong.

Good to hear from you guys. Ed I have followed your insight on bikes for a long time. You've got one day one me for membership. JC, You got it! Rage on. Rage on. Mike thank you, things are not only better but great. John, I live about 45 minutes from your relatives. If you are coming up in July PM me. I live on one of the best motorcyle roads within 100 miles of the Toronto. Phil, we will ride again. If I give you enough time maybe you can pull some of these other Floridians together too. Mike, no pity we made it out. You are right about "the room". People hooked up like something out of a sci-fi flick. I had Malanoma, so I have a warning about the sun especially red heads and blonds. Use sunscreen.

Well John, if you'd start paying your friggin' electric bill on time then you wouldn't have these kinds of problems anymore, dude!!!
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
