Forgot about "Summertime Blues". There have been a ton of bands that did that one. It is almost like "Louie, Louie", you're not really a band unless you have played it.
Lenny Kravtiz also did a cover of "American Woman" that I thought was better than the The Guess Who's original version.
The Flying Lizards had an album called
"Top Ten", it was alll covers done in their experimental electronic sound with monotone female voice.
