WTF is going on with our weather! Karen will be home that weekend so if we go itll also be on 4 wheels. Not as much fun but still nice to go look at bikes if you cant ride em. I still plan on sporting my Triumph hat to the HD dealership Since its looking like well be caging it in I suppose meeting at CB is the better option.

Why doesn't Triumph make a snowmobile??? Heck, if it is sunny on Sunday, I'll take my baby out for some exercise. Will that event still be going on up in Lynnwood??

Howdy Wazzukirk: How are those pipes workin' out for you? I'm still trying to decide on some mufflers. I did the mains, but haven't had a chance to ride yet. Was thinking of the ss's, also thinking of the TOR longs. BTW, my 07 TBA has the windscreen and light bar, as well as the short backrest. Waiting for the dresser bars to arrive.

Hey Snort!
I love the short TORs, they have a good low growl but aren't overly loud, but they still sound way better than the sewing machine stock pipes. You have one of the items on my wish list, the light bar. That will be my next purchase for sure.
So, if the weather cooperates, are we all meeting up tomorrow?

The really cool kids also don't let their sweeties pick out their lid !!
Welcome Snort, I hope you have a good sense of humor with this crowd.
I also hope you will give a listen to my Bubs, or Z's SS or Larry's Thunderpipes, before you decide to go with the TORs. You are lucky to several of us with different pipes that you can listen to.
Yep, the light bar is a great feature. I believe it really has helped me be noticed by others. The only problem is the stock 35W bulb (one of mine was blown out in just a few months) and the light switch (I understand the kit did not come with the light switch, so the dealer improvised a fix that has been giving me some problems..feels like the good ol'Lucas Electric days!!).
I hope y'all have decent riding weather and a good time today. Please give a "jiggly wave" to the H-D riders for me!!

Ran into Bob and Lynwood CB. Good deals outside and looked like about 15% off on the stuff inside. I had a nice little score...got a sissy bar (tall) used in good condition for $15. Yes...$15! Itll be good to have in case we do a long trip and Karen or I need to use a sissy bar bag. Thought I scored at the HD store too....Progressive 412, new for a price too good to pass up. Got em home and was going to get them on Karens bike and DOH! ... they dont fit. They are now on ebay.

Z, Thursday sounds like a possibility, but can't commit yet. If we do ride, might I suggest out and around Mt. Rainier? Too soon to go up too high, but lots of nice road for riding.

Z, I'll plan a route and put it up for feedback in the next day or so. If Kirk comes along (hopefully with his fiancee), maybe we can even stop off and poke around Bent Bike in Auburn. I don't know if Celt could make it, it's a haul just to get down to this area, from the border. If he could make it, great and more power to the big guy !! I'm hoping Bob knows some other Triumph cruisers from around Pierce County who might want to come out and play during the week. Just keep that electronic rain seeker gizmo of yours at home!! I want dry roads!!

No worries Celt. I'm hoping to do some riding up around Vancouver Island, this late summer, assuming the border law lets me go through with my Bubs. Maybe you can organize some cross-border get together for us all up there.

Hey Everybody,
Hmmmmmm, let me weigh this out....work....or riding....hmmmmm
Ok, I'm in, but I have to see if I can reschedule some meetings I have set up for Thursday first. The boss sent out this email today about how our team mantra for the next three months is "Dedication" and "Persistence"...Good Lord, we all know what that means....LOL
And no, the other half still doesn't have a bike but it would be great to go by Bent Bike to see what they have for her.

Yeah...interesting how your boss sent it out just as we go into spring-summer. We need to take your boss out on a TBA, get them to re-arrange their priorities!!
