there are some great open parking lots in Bothell....Karen drove me nuts the first few weeks...all she wanted to do was ride in the parking lot.
Oh well...She should also talk to some other women that ride. Karen will talk to her and I think Seattle Cycle Center has a womens group that meets on occasion. Heck...have her join up here and ask the women questions or whatever she needs.

This sport/activity is harder for women to get the right answers than it is for men.
