Yeah I know...the acronym sucks. "Seattle area" seemed too local and I dont want to drive anyone away but PNW seems too widespread and not accurate. At least not while we are doing somewhat local rides. Sea-RATs....  . Why does the movie "Wild Hogs" come to mind.
As for the RAT group....nah! The thing with a RAT group is that you have to include ALL Triumphs. Not that I or any of us would ever discourage anyone from riding with us but lets be honest....isnt it nice to be able to "cruise" and not have to try and keep up with a bunch of sport bikes.
Ive ridden with the CB RATs and its always an uncomfortable ride for me. On the last ride I simply went straight when they turned and rode most of the way alone till I caught up with a couple of guys on Vulcans. Then we rode the rest of the day and NEVER saw another one of the other RATs.
BTW...isnt a "sea rat" a seagul?
