Bought one of these last year for my 2007 Speedmaster, just getting round to fitting it now. Fitted all the associated brackets, top ones went on no problem, bottom was a problem. Took it off again and found that there were no holes for the bottom brackets to locate to. Am I missing something here, is there some sort of piece missing from my assembly? I can't take it back as my Triumph dealer is no longer a Triumph dealer. I'll have to modify/adapt it to fit myself.

I cannot remember how I put mine on, I know you should have 4 brackets. I have had a look for the instructions but of course never kept them, it is a fiddly job. I will have a look to see whereabouts the holes are on mine but will not be taking it off to look - sorry

Greg is correct, they should be holes where you have put your arrows, so you can put a screwdriver in from the bottom (holes) to tighten everything up

Cheers guys, yep...I've got 4 brackets, this is part of the problem. There is nowhere to attach the bottom two. I assume that there should be two holes in the bottom half. But ever if there were, I don't think that the socket head cap screws supplied would do a very good job with out some type of washer or insert to support them. Think I'm going to have to invent something and drill some new holes. I've got the booklet that came with the part, but it's not very useful.
