And how's about the old Auto Union Type C's and D's, nothing more than a minimal body thrown around a Supercharged 16 cylinder, skinny tires and drum brakes! If that ain't cool (Steve McQueen was a flamer comapared to Bernd Rosemeyer and Hans Stuck!), then I don't know what is. Same could be said of the old Bentleys (before they became subdued Rolls Royces that is!!!!)
