Just a quick note to tell you that there is now a Dart flyscreen fitting for the America and Speedmaster models. It's taken some time coming, largely because of inertia, but also because of the need to find an elegant way of fitting the screen. In the end, we're very pleased with the result. The screen brackets fix to the underside of the top yoke, leaving the headlamp area visually free of clutter. As for performance, we found it works well. Please don't expect it to be like a full touring shield though - it is just a flyscreen! Best of all, it finishes off the front end of the bike really well, and hides the view of the underside of the speedo from the front. Anyway, you can check it out for yourselves at: http://www.dartflyscreens.com/US/Speedmaster.htmlPhotos are of my bike - the Speedmaster is quite rare in the UK, but I've really enjoyed owning this one, even through winter. All the best Steve Sleddon PS it costs 10 bucks more than the Bonneville one - this is partly because the stainless brackets are more expensive, and partly because it's more expensive to ship.

Hi Eric, Apologies - I often assume that readers on these forums are American, but that's not always the case. As you may or may not know, we're actually based in the UK ourselves. If you go to http://www.dartflyscreens.com then you can choose your region accordingly. Postage by the way is included in the price. All the best Steve

And it's nice to see a Brit company doing stuff for our bikes. There aren't many out there.

Brent is listed as a US dealer, but I don't see it listed, yet, on Newspeedmaster.com.
I hate to ask this question, but how useful is a fly screen versus a larger windscreen? Steve

We'll have the screens in a week or so. They're en-route. Once in stock, they'll go up on the site.

Nice. If Triumph would not have had a similar model to get when I bought my bike, I'd be all over it! I really do like your products. My current setup I did have a Dart unit on my Ducati!

Hmmm ....I might see how this here UK made Dart flyscreen works out. I was going to get a Windvest, but they are very pricey. MackDaddy, that "cod" piece on the SM has to go!! Other than that, she's a beautiful bike. I really like the gaiters. What's the brand luggage you are using? Steve

I'm not seeing this? It is a clear screen, right? Keeps the speedo free of bugs maybe.....

Ummmm... I would also like to hear a testimonial on how well they work. Anybody rode with a flyscreen and a bigger screen, to tell the difference?
