Since Sowerby's is no longer I have had to find a new place for the NW RAT Lunch. I have secured the Kit Carson Restaurant in Chehalis (I-5 Exit 76). As usual, the plan is to be there at 1:00 PM.

Depending on how it works out, we might use the same place for the Summer NW RAT Lunch (last Saturday of August).

If I am around, I'll be there. It's too bad Sowerby's is closed, was looking forward to checking it out.

Folks,
I went to Sowerbys last year...great turn out and met some good people. Hard ride since it was my first group ride and I was the only cruiser and only one of three "classic" Trumps.

Nothing against the sport bike crowd but how many Seattle area or BC folks might be willing to get together and "cruise down"?

Nope, she hasn't bought a bike yet. Still looking for her but she will more than likely have a bike by the time this lunch will happen. BTW, she psyched to see another female in the group! :-) And she looks great in my old lid...lol

Its off I5 between Olympia and Portland...bout 10 miles north of where I5 and SR12 intersect.

Freedom, It does say Northwest RAT Lunch, and I guess if you split North America into quarters, you are in the NW, so you are very welcome to join us.

I just wish I could link the video of Andrew Zimmerman, of Bizarre Foods, stopping at what looks like a NYC hot dog vendor. Upon closer inspection, the guy sells grilled critters on a stick. Andrew then buys and eats a rat or squirrel on a stick. To top it off, he takes a bite into the head. Bleah!!!!

Kirk - it just goes to show that your old lid was "GIRLY" hence why your fiance looks good in it...

Seriously - tell her I'm excited to have another lady on the road with us. She better get a bike soon so she can get comfortable for the lunch ride to Chehalis.

The weather is starting to look better for this weekend:
http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USOR0030_f.html
http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USWA0369_f.html
http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USWA0069_f.html

Unfortunatley, since I will have my son this weekend, I will be in the cage. Ok... not unfortunate that I'll have my son, but unfortunate that we'll have to drive the car.

Z, I just started tackling stairs yesterday. I'd love to go, with the promise of nice weather, but dealing with stairs is still an issue. Plus it wears me out.

Triumph of Tacoma cannot find an 07 TBA blue/white. They found one somewhere, but the dealer won't let it go.
They can find black/red but I need to make sure it's the brighter "tornado red", not the darker "sunset red".

I get my settlement check tomorrow.

Again, have a great time y'all.
