It looks like two lights instead of the usual one.

I like the twin lamps on that bike....they look like a perfect size and shape for our bikes.

I like the looks of it. Bummer that the roadster windscreen wont fit with it.

didn't someone here do this mod but only with a cheaper alternative over the thunder kit?

I couldn't find it during a search.

I seem to remember a post where someone did it themselves too. Maybe it is in the archives. Does a search search the archives too automaticly? Or just active threads?

Clicking search on this forum only searches back to early '06 (or was it '05?), when we switched from the old forum software to the new. The older archives search can be accessed from the homepage.

I can't seem to get into the achives...maybe not operational yet?

anyway, I sent off an email to thunder to see what set of lamps actually come with the kit.

They show the ones pictured above and in the instructions, they show a different set.

here is the other set that are butt ugly.

My next question is: Do you gurus think that 2 60w lamps might be too much of a draw? Is that a problem on these bikes?

I can only guess, but I would think that if its no problem to have the headlight and light bar, then twinlamps should not be a problem.

BTW----here is streetboogie's version....I don't like the bracket and it looks as though you have to drill the lower yoke but the lamps are cool. he lists no price.????

1) Looks like Robert is still having problems with certain parts of the site.

2) Boogie's kit uses existing holes in the lower yoke.

Looks like he redesigned the site. Not sure what to make of it now.

The link in the vendors section of the tech vault still directs one to the same old Street Boogie site where all his merchandise seems to be available. ??

That's the site I was looking for. I thought the URL was streetboogiecustoms.com but that doesn't seem to go anywhere. Maybe he lost the domain name.

For anyone interested, Thunder states that the kit includes the traditional looking lights that are in the first set of pictures.

still very expensive.......hhhhmmm......what to do? what to do?

I think that of someone came up with a vertical dual light set-up that would be cool (One above the yoke, one below the yoke)
