I love the sound of my Harley breathing through Vance&Hines long shots with baffles. However my Speedmaster with gutted stock pipes truly stirs the soul. It sounds like a Nascar motor. Maybe if everyone had one it would be different, but everyone doesn't so we're different; might as well make an impression.
