This afternoon, I changed my indicator bulbs from filament to LED, and changed the relay as well. They work fine until I plug in the warning lights, and then they all flash together. As soon as I take out the multiplug again, they work fine. Any ideas on how I can get around this, apart from disconnecting the warning light, as I want it all to be working as it should?

Thanks

What he said. I took out my warning light, and some day I'll wire in the diodes...

I don't know why, but I was able to leave all factory wires
intact and use no additional inline components by using a
flasher made for LEDs.

FWIW, I had terrible luck with these LED bulbs

They fell apart from vibration in short order
Perhaps they've been improved by now

Even with LEDs both front and back?

I have LEDs both front and back and the LED flasher (same one as you posted), and my turn signals ended up flashing like hazard light. I just puled the indicator bulb from the dash, and it's fine.

Before I start cutting things, I'm going to try an LED in the warning light, although the flasher relay is advertised as capable of handling both LED and filaments. The place I bought it from says:

As suspected the problem lies with the wiring for the dash
indicator bulb. I have resolved this on my bike by cutting
the wires and adding a full-wave rectifier to the circuit. I
also had to add a 500 OHM resistor in parallel, to one bulb
on each side of the indicators (IE one on the left, one on
the right) to stop a dim flash on the opposite circuit, when
using the indicators (I hope all this makes sense!).

I'm not sure what this means, or how much it might cost, but I need to investigate.

For the moment, however, the console is unplugged so no warning lights at all.
