On top of all that you are only supposed to use equal force in self defense. Plus the shot in the back is a red flag too. I think the biker might have been looking for a fight or to put a scare into the girls so they wouldn't do anything stupid to the next poor biker. Or it is possible he couldn't see their tag and wanted info because his bike was damaged. He couldn't have been too bad since he didn't stop when he saw dad.Dad should have been out there to talk to the guy first not brandishing a gun. I may have had my gun too in his place but it would have been concealed and only pulled out if given no other choice and at that point used. I was always taught don't pull it if you aren't going to use it. I think the baseball bat is an idea but there again it should have been handy not brandished in a threatening manner until the biker made an unfriendly move.
