Anything beyond pure self-defense, which this wasn't, is vigilantism and illegal. That's why our tax dollars fund the police department, to deal with non-immediate threats, like a "menacing" motorcyclist riding on a public street. This guy's only legal recourse was to take his little princesses in the house (maybe stay outside long enough to get the license plate), lock the doors and call the police. That's it. This mammyrammer needs to be given the death penalty. Do they have that in Georgia?
