I have an 03 SpeedMaster with 33,000+ miles, freak, pipes, and jets. It will embarrass a Harley unless he has added expensive screaming eagle mods. If you want to lower the revs at highway speeds go with a 18 tooth front sprocket, I stay around 3000 at 70MPH. BTW you do not have the option to change ratios with the Harley.
