This is Myron Cope on sports, I loved his show and the way he called a game. Make a boring game exciting. He was a good guy who was a fan of the game. When he called a play you thought you where sitting next to a buddy listening to the game

Always sad to see legendary folks die - BUT if I had to hear him say "the bal-tey-more boidies" when talking about the Ravens, I could have shot him! <g> When the Ravens first came to Baltimore, most of the games were not on television and I had to listen to them on PA radio.

I grew up in Pittsburgh in the 70's when the Stiller's were unbeatable. Would always listen to the radio broadcast instead of the TV because of Myron Cope. A legend in Pittsburgh. He will be missed, yoi - no, Double Yoi! (those from da burgh will understand...)

Wendy is from Freedom just outside Pittsburgh and knew who he was right away she also mentioned the terrible towel. I can't stand watching sports on TV unless it involves engines except Nascar ,that to me is like watching paint dry. I never heard of him.
