I'm almost done with Hilo job And will be in Mississippi for 5 or 6 months. Anyone close? Are there any must sees while I'm there? I do hope I can go home for a few weeks before I go back to work. It will be so nice to ride my bike again.

Besides the Mississippi Gulf Coast, there is the Natchez Trace Parkway, Battlefield Park at Vicksburg, alot of small towns with beautiful historic homes, Civil War historic sites. Also from the Gulf Coast you are not that far from New Orleans.

Mississippi has brought you Delta Blues, B.B. King, Elvis Presley, Morgan Freeman, James Earl Jones, Gerald McCrainey and Delta Burke, and those solar panel powered fixed and portable lighted road signs just to name a few.

If you are workin' steel and have time to see much more than whats on the coast, I don't think you'll be bored... that is if you like to smell the flowers and not just blow by them.

I've met people from all over the U.S. and other parts of the world who came to Mississippi and stayed.
