Well, after discovering that my bike looked a little cross eyed with the front turn signals still mounted on the controls after I installed new drag bars, I decided I needed to move them! Go figure.
I bought some used rear turn signals from Fishercat and proceeded to get to work.
I made this bracket from .5" plain electric weld 1/16" wall tube that is 12" across (same distance as the rear lights). Added some hollow threaded rod on the ends, as well as a fancy bracket that mates with the holes in the bottom clamp.
Then I removed the posts from the rear turn signal housings, drilled out the threads so that they would slip over the hollow threaded rod ends.

Here it is test fitted on the bike.

And a picture of the mount detail.

When it is done, the wires will run through it, and out a hole near the bottom of the bracket out of sight.
Now, I just need to polish the heck out of it, and send it out for chrome. I will post pictures when it is finished. Thanks Fishercat for the parts.
I knew my years as a metal model maker for Ford would come in handy!
Also please accept my apologies for a lack of beer bottles in the pictures.
