Soren and Zmilin,

Here's a quick little idea.

A ride that could be easily planned would be this.

1. After work on Friday Aug. 8th all Oregon and Washington riders travel to a motel of their choosing within striking distance to Stonehenge on the Columbia (perhaps the Goldendale area) so that everyone can meet at the Stonehenge Monument at, say, 9 in the morning on Saturday the 9th.

2. After all riders have assembled, we then all cruise through this wilderness area between Mt. Adams and the St. Helens all the way to Morton, WA., which is 135 miles. After riding on this stunning scenic highway, we would go to our pre-arranged lodging.

3. That weekend in Morton is their annual "Logger's Jubilee." It's a fun weekend and the town is overrun with motorcycles and other hoopla. So after getting up on Sunday the 10th and carousing around a bit at the "Loggers Jubilee," everybody goes back from wince they came - only to return to the daily grind on Monday.

This would be centrally located for most all Washington and Oregon riders, and would not require anybody missing any work.

What doya think?

"Speedmaster" is a title not a name, - and the title is not plural.
