Somebody rigged up an insert for aftermarket bars, but for the life of me I can't remember. There was a chunk of rubber with washers on either side and when the endcap screw was tightened it compressed the rubber, pushing it outward, which had a strong enough contact to hold the endcap on.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
