Quick downshift maybe... I'm usually good about downshifting before a turn, always used engine braking in cars before riding too. Amazes me how little some people know about how a motor works. I told my friend to downshift one time in the snow and she goes "how?" I said "See the 2 and the 1 below the D? What do you think those are?"
