If you go with the TBS needles you'll have to drill your airbox and remove the snorkle. I have an 04 and I ran the TBS for a while. I found the best setup to be 132 mains, 45 pilots, drilled airbox with UNI filter and snorkle removed. I moved back to stock needles with 1 shim and the bike seems to be a little happier at the high end. I did lose a little mid range response but not enough to make me want to switch back.
