you should pull the ai anyways, 130 mains should do the job, and yank that snorkle out of the airbox

yank the two weird hoses from next to spark plugs, plug with short bolts then plug airbox hole and bigazz hose. Or, easy way - buy the AI removal kit from anywhere (I prefer Brent) or make your own - destructions in the tech vault for all the parts to buy.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

You should rejet to some degree. How is kinda flexible. You could do 45 pilots, or you could up the mains.
2002 Bandit 1200/ GSXR cams/ 1277 BB Kit/ Holeshot header and can/ 38mm flatslides/ a good head/lotsa hp/lotsa tq- lots of rear tires...

If you ask what jet size, you will get a number of different answers. Best to go here. Click on jetting calculator. Probably ought to put a shim under each needle or go with a richer needle. 45 pilots were too rich for me with stock airbox.

I agree 45 is too big a pilot for TORs with stock air box, stick with the 42 pilot and 125 to 130 main will probably do ya.

are you talking before your carb change,BB, and with TORs Frank? I am at 1800' and 42 was too small with stock bore,Freak, and straight pipes (gutted stock). On the dyno I was dangerously lean, off the scale lean literally at low RPM but very close once the main took over with 160 in. Now I have 155 main and 48 pilot and am close but still need to drop to 45 pilot I think.
