Can anyone out there tell me where to pick up Truxton needles and what the advantage of using them is? Will be running EPCO's with Uni in Stock Box
They have a much more aggressive taper so they meter more fuel at the same throttle settings than the stock or TBS needles. I have them but I also have a smaller jet to compensate for the taper; I'm running a 125 main on a set up where most folks are running 132s (K&N in a stock box with "velocity mouth" inlet and Specialty Spares pipes). I like the results but I also haven't been to the dyno man to see what the real story is so I only have my "butt-ometer" to back this up.
