I have one for long rides only. I have a corbin solo with backrest and where the backrest post locates in the seat, there is a section that is only about 1/4" of padding. At this point it hase given me some grief if I ride for several hours or more, so I bought an airhawk to ameliorate this pressure point.

In fact 'm going on a long ride on Saturday, Sun, and Monday up north going about 1400k's so the airhawk for me is just a nice accessory to have if/when I need a different sitting position. Actually I'm hoping I won't need it this time as I've adjusted my sitting position with the backrest and I'm hoping the corbin won't give me the problem it did before. If it does though, It's nice to know all I have to do is blow up the airhawk and off you go.

Maybe it's just my insurance but it's nice to have
