I've got one that I use on the stock Speedmaster seat. I really like it on long days; it lets me stay in the seat longer. I don't use it everyday...I prefer the firm seat when I'm riding around town locally. I definitely recommend it for long days though.

It was a life saver on the stock seat and my Corbin solo seat before I got it reworked. After Corbin "adjusted" the seat for me I haven't used the airhawk or the alaska sheepskin cover. That includes a 3400 mile trip I did in September at a leisurely 350-400 miles per day (I took the sheepskin but it was more of a pain than it was worth). Been thinking about selling the airhawk but they don't even bring 50% on resale, so I'll probably just sit on it (pardon the pun).

I wouldn't take a long trip (several days) without mine. Locally, I don't use it.

Jane lets me borrow hers when I go on long trips, a huge improvement. Well worth the $$.

Anyone have pics of these with the Speedy Seat they use. I have the single seat with pillion pad. Just want one that fits over the single seat.

I had one and sold it. I could never get the amount of air right. Too much air and it felt like I was floating around on the seat. Less air and my bony butt made most of the air migrate into a bubble in the front, right below the area where you don't want an air bubble...... I guess it depends on your posterior profile.
I got a sheepskin seat cover instead. Works well for me.

It's not a great shot, but here's the Airhawk on my stock Speedmaster seat. If I remember correctly, I got the medium cruiser seat, and it fits the seat just right.

That's in Candor, NC...a pretty, small town in Randolph County (I think). I ran through there looking for an Indian mound site one Saturday a few weeks ago. I never found the mounds, but had fun looking for them. Those power lines do cut up the picture, don't they. Will

tell everyone the picture's taken out by your servants quarters..much more impressive(not being rigourously honest!)I have the airhawk and use it on trips..not local travel..I would reccomend it till permanent alterations/gel pad etc to stock seat..here in seattle Rich's does seats and everyone is pleased..3-4 hour fix..He alters and you ride, then alters more and you ride till you are happy..then complete with cover,etc..about 400+ so airhawk is an acceptable bargain!!
life is good..I am retired..sold my America in 2008,bought a Rocket and sold that in 3/2013 and now own a new Triumph Bonneville T-100

There are some neat Indian mounds in your neighborhood: Etowah Indian Mounds, Cartersville, GA. Always fascinates me everytime I go by there.

I guess one person has to add the "bad side". I had one and could not stand to use it. It always felt like I was sliding around and going to fall off the bike. I ended up giving it away and that person ended up giving it away also. I have no idea where it might be now.

I put a Corbin seat on three years ago and while it was an improvement over the stock seat it was too hard for a trip of much over an hour or so. The Airhawk seat made it comfortable to go on a twelve hour ride. It takes a little getting used to but is a huge help on long rides. I don't use it on short trips but I won't go on a long ride without it.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I have one for long rides only. I have a corbin solo with backrest and where the backrest post locates in the seat, there is a section that is only about 1/4" of padding. At this point it hase given me some grief if I ride for several hours or more, so I bought an airhawk to ameliorate this pressure point. In fact 'm going on a long ride on Saturday, Sun, and Monday up north going about 1400k's so the airhawk for me is just a nice accessory to have if/when I need a different sitting position. Actually I'm hoping I won't need it this time as I've adjusted my sitting position with the backrest and I'm hoping the corbin won't give me the problem it did before. If it does though, It's nice to know all I have to do is blow up the airhawk and off you go. Maybe it's just my insurance but it's nice to have
Staintune Pipes, K&N Pods, 45 pilots, TBS needles and 145 mains.

Have you ever tried sheepskin. I started using one a few years back and found it will extend your travelin time to all day. During the summer it will keep you from getting the dreaded monkey butt, and I picked up a small hide for less than 20.00 bucks. When it rains, shake it and its dry again. Not a bad investment.
