I have heard a couple rumors about the Tiger Cub. One rumor is that it will be a true enduro like the KLR with the 675 motor. The other rumor is that it will be just a smaller version of the current Tiger with almost no off road capabilities but with the 675 motor.

The Triumph guy told me it will be just a smaller version of the current Tiger with the 675 motor. I asked because I am currently looking at adding a relatively lightweight multi-cylinder (i.e. more than one cylinder) off-road 'capable' machine which is also able to achieve long distances to my stable (I'm looking south, across the water ... again! ).
Personally, I would love to see a true enduro like the KLR with the 675 motor in it.
