I order a British bike T shirt design for my site. A bit frustrated that there are slim pickings for British designs, so I was quite excited when it arrived.

Got the stuff and opened it up and showed my wife and kids (adult kids) I was proud as all get out see, it is a Triumph in there. My wife quips, you got it because the girl has big boobs! What? I retort, she has no boobs! I then had to scrutinize the fact that the girl in the picture did in fact have boobs. Seems all I saw in this was the fact there was likely a Triumph in the picture, the girl was in the way! Oh what have I come to?!?!??! Bikes over girls, I have truly become obsessed...with British

My wife gets jealous of the Diana Krall album covers.

I guess she thinks Krall is going to jump out da picture and rape me.

(Not that it would be a bad thing...)

What am I missing here? I see a girl adjusting the headlamp on her motorbike.

Don't worry eddy, winter will soon be over and life will return to normal as we know it.

I really do know what ya mean Eddy (about the girl in the way of the bike), i mean the pinup is pretty tame anyway, really.
I'm lucky that my wife has always understood the art of the pinup. If i wanted to hang up a Bettie Page calendar, or own some Elvgren prints, no problem.

Now I could be wrong here Ed, as it's actually a bit hard to verify this due to that Betty Grable-esque little cutie positioning herself right in front of "the heart" of that motorcycle, but I think you may have another problem here other than the obvious one of explaining to Judy why you overlooked said cutie completely and only had eyes for that "british bike".

Well, like I said, I COULD be wrong here, BUT from what I can see of that old motorcycle, and especially because of it's Earles front end, it appears that machine is actually GERMAN and not british, as it appears to be an old BMW R25 single such as this....

Yep Ian. movin' back up this thread to take another look at Ed's pics(and BTW, makin' an unscheduled stop at Bucky's pic of Diana Krall...OH YEAH!!!), the plunger-style rear end and even the muffler look a whole lot like that old Beemer too, don't they?!

Well , this is purely a PHYSIOLOGICAL observation , but notice how the heels cause the Plantar's tendons to flex downward , and thus cause a disproportionate hyperextension of the calf and quadracept muscles .

Is that safe ?

Scrutinizing the Large image for the shirt, it does not have a rear shock, like the Bemers and it doesn't have a curled lip to the front fender.

The exhaust don't match up with any that i can find on the net either.

It may well be an artist taking liberty with a bike (should be a crime) If the girl didn't have her butt in the way we would know for sure!

YEAH!!! "If the girl didn't have her butt in the way we would know for sure", ALRIGHT!!!

And...and...wait a minute here Ed...

Now that I think about this again...seein' as how my eyes ALSO went right past the cutie there and straight to the bike in order to decipher it's make and then make mention of it here, I think I now TOO have to admit that I am now ALSO suffering from the very same "obsession" that was your main point was in this thread to begin with!!!

(where ARE our "priorities" here anyway, HUH Bro?!)

Lyle also sings:
Quote:

've been to Houston
And San Antonio
And I love a woman
What I don't know

Sherry she had big ones
Sally had some too
But Allison had little ones
What hate to go to school

And I make my bed
Where I lay my head
And I wish I heard what she just said

Lord I can't believe what I see
How could you be alone
When you could sit right here beside me girl
And make yourself at home

You see? I am in a very very bad place! The sad part is? My wife does not believe me that I didn't notice anything about the girl!

eddy,

Your post reminded me that last summer I bought a couple yards of fabric from a co-worker's wife's sewing/fabric store in Missoula. It depicts old skool BSA, Triumph, Norton motorbikes. After getting home, I realized there are also blondes and red heads, sitting, sprawling and posing on said bikes. My intent is to have it made into kitchen curtains, however everytime I see it I blush so bad, I had to store it on the backroom closet shelf.

Maybe I ought to send it to you? Maybe you ought to run it past your wife first!

John and Eddy-
Why not collaborate? Have neckties made out of the cool babes and bikes fabric to sell on Eddy's site?

Crap, what's wrong with ME? My second thought was "which Daisy is hotter?" (the original, of course), but my FIRST thought was that Catherine Bach's Jeep CJ was way cooler than Jessica's TJ.
(and the sad thing is, there's only a Jeep in one of the pictures...)
