Same part (Emgo) hung on downtube & resting on crossbar.
As with John's, the line slopes down & it doesn't catch anything.
Looks like Tom's is more like horizontal, though.
BTW, for those who use the Emgo part - check the socket heads that hold the filter to its bracket.
Mine were finger tight out of the box.
