Anyone know for sure if the new style 08 Speedmaster Wheels will fit on an older Speedmaster (as in an 03)? My local Triumph shop called the Triumph USA Tech guy and he said "they should since the forks & swingarm were not changed but he could not be 100% sure" HOWEVER if I order the wheels & they do not fit I am outta luck-no returns! Has anyone actually fitted the new wheels on an older speedy???
Thanks!

I don't see why they would not fit, if Triumph changed the huds and axils to the point in which they would need to refit the manufacturing prosses wouldn't make sense. Doing something as simple as changing a set rims to upgrade the look of a bike or vehicle is cheap and would be able to keep running the same part manufactures. You see older model cars and truck driving around with the next gen rims.

I know Ray (birchr) has put 07 Speedmaster wheels on his 04 America....
And 07 are the same as the 08.

But he did change the front forks, as the Speedie is twin disked, but the yokes are the same. The back wheel just slotted straight in.
I'm sure he'll have a pic posted up somewhere.

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

dont see any reason why, only reason to change fork legs would be to add a 2nd disc if you have an america

Yes.
They're interchangeable.

I have '08 front wheel on my '04. Direct replacement. Measured the rears also, same same.

You could also just change the front wheel if ya wanted and paint or powdercoat the rear black... Half the price...
