I too am in the search for saddle bags. My criteria is to hold my laptop carry bag which will require a large saddle bag (18"L x 14") Then again, I question the wisdom of carrying a computer in a saddle bag. I think a trunk would transfer too much road whip to the tail of the bike that could be harmful to the computer. I've though about a messanger bag, but I don't like the idea of wearing a pack while I ride. It has something to do with the potential of hitting the pavement. Anybody commute with a laptop? What do you use to carry it. And, Plllleeeeeaaaassssseeee, don't tell me to buy a GS.
