Well, it was a beautiful day here in Seattle yesterday and I went riding with my friends. One has a Busa and the other has an ST1300. We hit this LONG stretch of open road with no obstacles so we decided to open up the throttle. Well, I have to say, I now have experienced ton-up. Looked down at my spedometer and it showed 103. Wow, that was a blast. Not something I would do everyday (I'm pretty much a safety freak), but ******, I needed to experience that and I have to say it was FUN!!
You could do that on a R3 in second gear without even noticing.

Ok, update, since hearing that our speedos run 5 mph off, I went back to that same road and did 112, so now I believe I have offically done it. And 112 is pretty good considering it's stock (except for TORS) and hauling my 270-pound butt around. LOL
