On a recent flight across the USA, I was forced to watch a film called, "December Boys". It looks like an Aussie indy type film that has Daniel Radcliff starring in it. Perhaps they figured it would appeal to the Harry Potter fans, but it ain't no Potter film.
The story is set in the 1960's and is about 4 orphan boys who go off on their December holiday to stay with a family near the beach (Remember, it's summer in December down under). Basically it's a coming of age film.

At one point, another major character shows up on his motorcycle. I had to do a double take because it was either a Speedmaster or America, black, complete with disc brakes (couldn't catch if there were twin discs in the front)....in the 1960's!! And the guy was roaring up and down the shore, flying through the salt water. I was cringing!!

I wouldn't recommend paying money to rent the film, but if you do see it, look for the Triumph. I liked it better than Daniel Radcliffe!!
