There ya go !!! Thats the reason. I have a 1/2 which killed me after even rides a couple hours. Got a 3/4 and it was silent by comparison. I went from noise so bad ot was like being in the front row at rock concert to being in the back row at a classical quartet concert. And add to that the fact your other helmet is a full face not a 3/4 and i think you surely have your answer.

At 80 MPH which he said he was going, in 10 hours he'd have gone 800 miles. So being it was 700 miles, figure approximatly 9 hours. Of course thats not counting stops, but he's talking about noise and time spent being subjected to it which doesn't include stops.
