The seat was done by Surtrim in West Sussex. The owner of the shop did it before he was killed in a bike accident last year. Its a one off to my design. It looks off but its an exact copy of the union flag. His partner is still doning seats I think. Very biker friendly, dropped it off one day and it was ready the following day.

Well spotted chaps....I change gear with my foot, my fat fingers do the typing, perhaps if Id used my toes I would have put 5!
Brummie, Ive had 65 bikes now.( most JAP stuff )Since 1998 Ive owned 6 Triumphs, bought a Harley for a change then went back to Triumphs. I was looking about for a good used Rocket 3 but everyone I saw had rust showing, Triumph dealers wanted to give me a stupid PX price. So I decided that I will again get a Harley ( at a very good price) ( holds its value better )then sell that when the new Triumph 1500 cruiser comes out.
The reason I put the bike on Ebay is that I thought Id stuff the dealers, If I get the same as they offered then Im happy (ish) and the winner gets a cheap bike. Why should I let the dealer make nearly £2000 out of me. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER TRIUMPH FROM A MAIN DEALER

Nice bike mate, and I agree on your comments regarding Triumph dealers. Most are in it just for the $$$ also out here in Oz, my dealer is ok but I only visit them for stuff I can't get elsewhere!
Good luck on your sale, and it'll be good to see you back to give reviews on the 1500cc Triumph when you get it!
TBA, Stainless extractors / drag pipes, 65mm over forward controls, Thruxton needles, 904cc, head ported, lowered 1-inch, Console removed, relocated battery box, Australia.

Hey good luck with the HD Eddy, but come back to us when you have the 15/1700 Trump and let's us know what you think about it.. I agree with you as well the Triumph dealers are there to make money, that's probably why they charge £200+ for the 12000 mile service..

This is my first Triumph, but from what the blokes in our club and the Advanced Riders Group I belong to say about our local dealer, then I'm not looking forward to changing it. One guy who used to use this site (Adey) bought a number of bikes from them and I don't think he had any problems.
Sounds like I'm talking myself into keeping the BA and adding to my stable........
