Yeah...it is kind'a, but for some reason a lot of Italian singles had their kickstarters on the left back then, Ray.
In fact, my second motorcycle was a Benelli manufactured 360cc single which at the time(about 1968) were sold by the Montgomery Wards department stores(no longer in existence, BTW) here in the States. And, it's kickstarter was also on the left side.
And it had no compression release...AND it would occassionally try to take my left leg off at the knee!
(AND I think I STILL to this day have a little water on that knee from that sucker!...but once running it was a pretty good little motorcycle alright...and it handled really well too!)
