I've got a sqeak in my front forks that happens when i hit medium size bumps. Small bumps don't make it do it and big ones don't. But it is very irritating because most bumps I hit are of course medium. Any ideas out there. Thanks

Mine has started to do that again. I just take a little silicone spray and squirt it up the fork tins and it takes care of it for a while.

Yep. A little silicone or WD40 will do the trick. Or you can change to gaiters. They don't squeek at all.

Yeah, mine does that too. It's the fork shroud below the triple tree. Try loosening the shroud screws and retightening, or a good bump with the palm of your hand.

Might seem a bit obvious, but have you tried avoiding the bumps?

WD-40 did the trick. And for avoiding the bumps, it can't be done here in New York. The roads are a lot like washboards. Thanks for the advise everyone.

Mine did that. I tried Silicone spray- worked for a while, then started up again.
used some old engine oil I had around..That has worked a treat.

of course you could get some ear plugs...but do not oil those!

RodYork how did you spray the old motor oil on the ear plugs (oops I ment to say) up inside the fork covers.

Mine would sqeak if I pushed down on the handle bars repeatedly. But gone now.
