I know what you mean. I've been working on the yellow iron (and green, and puke green, and orange etc.) for a long time too. I would get a diesel in a one ton pickup if I needed the towing capability, but I don't.

I would consider a diesel in a half ton though, if one (and an appropriate one at that) was offered.
