I think Diesel engines are a natuarl for motorcycles. However, I am working on a project to build a bike around an Austin 975 inline 4. Just cause my last major project was an Austin Healey Sprite MKII, and I have a spare engine. I plan on giving it distinctly British looks and include some parts from an Austin Healey sprite and 100-6.
