A little off topic - if only we could get a wider selection of diesel cars & small trucks here in the states...

Imagine (once again) a small pickup turning 30 or 35 city MPG ... (sighs)
or more than just a TDI flavored cage to choose from. (double sigh) As a shopper currently in the market to buy a used vehicle, the TDIs are sky high and very very scarce. A nationwide search yielded too few available units, and all were priced way too high due to current fuel prices, IMO anyway.

Imagine a 275 or 330 gallon tankful of state & federal tax free red 'diesel' fuel in the cellar... (triple sigh)

I agree, I've always thought Dodge should put a diesel motor in the Dakota. VW stopped making the TDi for a couple years now too, that doesnt help the used market. They are supposed to come back with it next year, luckily I found one used for a great price and bought it last year. My friends made fun of my car because its a Beetle, but only until I said 45mpg.

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.
