My America came with the Triumph floorboards and I like them alot, but I find on long trips I tend to place my heels as far forward as the pedals will allow me and then my toes point outwards. This results in a good ride for me, but get annoyed everytime I need to shift or use the rear brake cause then I need to move my feet back to the centre of the floorboard, so I want to make new brackets to mount the controls infront of exhaust pipes. I drive Semi Truck and my biggest issue on long trips is on some trucks the fire wall is too close or the centre console is in the way and I can't stretch out my legs. But I have not seen or heard of anyone else doing this, but hear alot of people looking to mid-mount their controls. I know everyone has a different riding style and comfort levels, but I'm looking for feed back/info before I go modifying my bike to much. Seeing as how the only other style of bike I've ridin is either a sport bike or dirt, this is the only cruser style of bike I've ridin love it. Thanks

Yeah, if you could send some pics that would be awsome, I'm still on the fence on which directions to move the controls.

Yes, that is exactly what I was looking at fabricating, and looking at your pictures, you look as the same build as me so I think that'll fix alot of my problems.
