Just come in and move stuff? I have spent the last 30 min looking for my little boom box so i can listen to Bob and Tom. Where is it? Good question. I would wake her up and ask her, but that is a wrath I am not ready for at 6am. its not a one time thing either. I missed my spin class at the gym yesterday cause I spent a hour looking for the head phones on my Ipod. Yes I did leave it on the coffee table. But why put stuff where it cant be found. 2 rooms in this house are min, my office and my "man" room. You would think she would just set it in there but noooooooooo. She put them away, and now she cant find them.. It makes me so dang mad I cant even look at her. I dont go hidding her stuff, I dont put things away never to be seen again beacuse I just feel like it.
Oh and this really made me mad yesterday. I am in MY office, I look up on my desk and in the hutch is crayons and coloring books. I threw them in the hall way and got yelled at. She said there is no other place to put them. Um hello you took over out sun room as a day care, there is a lot of room in there. I will even go to Office Depot to buy you a book shelf or something. But I guess that was not good enough cause as I look up now it is back. When she gets up to take a shower, I am gonna take the pillow out of her pillow case and fill it full of coloring books and crayons.. Oh and she even took my good printer to print pictures for the kids to color.. Um Hello I bought you a cheap printer from Wal Mart for that, oh but its out of ink.. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I'm going for a long ride today. lets see 140 miles will get me well into the middle of the state, or up to myrtle Beach, or to Savannah.. I am running away for the day.
Sorry for venting, but if I talk to her aobut it I am the bad guy..

That's some funny stuff there. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand how irritating it is, but to a guy with two bad divorces under his belt, that's some funny stuff. BTW - How in the world did you negotiate a "Man Room"?

Thank goodness I thought I was going mad. All my good stuff vanishing, those little things that you put aside knowing that it will come handy some time. When you do need that little dooodad thingummyjigger doowhackar it has been tidied away never to be seen again. This usually involves the spending of large sums of money on buying some gadget that you will use once and once only which lies in a tool box for years until dissapearing just before the original thing you bought it for breaks. Do you ever find the original little thingyummyjig nope its still tidied away somewhere safe. This is why tool stores exist.

I owned the house before we met. I had to give up the rest of the house as well as the yard. I do however get the garage that is not attached to the house tho. Not a bad deal, IF SHE WOULD STAY OUT OF MY ROOMS!!!!.
I really miss the sun room tho. It was the reason for thew whole remodel. Should see it, it was nice. custom hard woods, floor to celing windows with removable glass, french doors going into the house, really nice. Now it is coverd in toys, kids stuff, and drool form all the rug rats.. Every window is coverd in little hand prints..

Sounds like a really nice "Pre-Daycare" sunroom.

also the man room started out as "my" bed room. She worked a really odd shiftat the PD and I am a super light sleeper. So I had my own room for when she had to get up for work at 2am.. Working EMS for 15 years will really mess with sleep habits. If the slightest thing wakes me up,, I am up for at least a hour..

Hey Man, I'm like 03Cruiser with two real bad ones, divorces that is. All the kids are grown and gone and it gives me pause to think.. it really was just a short time ago when they all were here. Far be it for me to give advice but you should enjoy it while you can. One day it will be just you and your lovely wife if you make it through the child rearing years. Me, I've remarried again, for the third time. I guess that gives new meaning for "A glutton for punishment." This time I chose well. She's beautiful, no kids and 15 years younger. As they say over yonder..."No worries mate."

Join the crowd DD. I'm not convinced ba.com is the best site for general counseling, although the responses are entertaining. I do hope you have a better idea for Valentine's Day than a pillow case full of crayons & colouring books. Yikes!!

I have a man room, doesn't everyone. In fact, if i include the garage and the shed, i have three man rooms.

Amen to that. Case in point. My wife wanted a cat. I dont like cats, so we compromised.......and we got a cat.

Exactly like my wife. It must be a woman thing, and no, I don't understand.

Well Matt, similarly to what Dante said about abandoning all hope once you enter the Underworld, you must abandon any notion of "mine" once you become a "we", OR you are going to eventually drive yourself crazy...or the Mrs. to the lawyers!!!
(it's just the way of all flesh, dude...and it seems 50% of married couples today never learn this...unfortunately for their kids!)

Start going through the kitchen drawers to look for your missing stuff. Women tend to toss all the loot they collect into random drawers for some reason. Once, I got out a fresh towel in the kitchen, went out to work on the bike and then came in to wash up. Of course, the fresh clean towel was gone, so I tried to hunt up another. In one drawer, I found a sandwich bag with a bolt, a nail, a stamp and a run pin inside. In a change purse in the next drawer, I found the nut and washer that went to the bolt, a spool of thread and a shoestring. They have this odd nesting instinct that forces them to go around grabbing random items thinking, "What's this, what's this", answering with "Thing, thing". Since they never get as far as what sort of thing, everything gets mixed up and tossed in drawers, bags or boxes with absolutely no thought as to what might belong together, Especially parts or instruction books that are needed to operate some very expensive item.
As for the coloring books and colors, chuck 'em into that big bottom drawer in the kitchen. But, first check it for your stuff.

Not only does my wife do this but when I ask her where something is, she doesn't know. Then, when I finally find it she says "Oh that. I knew where that was." There are times when wife beating should be legal.

I was getting ready to go to work and I needed my notebook to go to school after work. My ex had no idea where it might be. After searching the house one more time, I noticed she had a very familiar looking book on her lap. I asked if it was the one I was looking for, she just looked down, said "oh." and handed it over. She had no idea what it was, it was just "thing" and needed to be randomly hidden away the next time she went to the kitchen or closet.

My wife would never touch or move my stuff (she not going to read this is she?) after all I am the man of the house and what I say goes (wait is that the garage door I hear?) I mean my god real men ride harleys and rule there house with a iron fist (yes dear I did pick up those female items you needed) You make sure you never blink when you give a command and touching your stuff is just not aloud.( no dear I forgot to use the coupon) Now that i showed you guys how to run your house I need to make a quick run back to the drug store!!!

Wendy does it to me all the time, trouble is when I ask her she swears she hasn't touched anything! She gives me a hard time because the garage is full of garage stuff too and not storage for her business. The list goes on and on.

Dont get me wrong, I am not a messy person at all. I cant stand clutter in my home. I am a firm beliver in everything has a place. My office is spotless, I file stuff asap, and keep my desk looking tip top. Kind of got that from my dad.( Air Force Officer) A lot of times I will fall asleep on the couch listening to music, or doing some work on my lap top. When I wake up at 3am, I tend to put the computer on the floor and place my ear buds on the key board.. I guess this night i was listening to a CD in my walkman. She still cant find it. I give up on looking, and she is not talking to me lol.. SWEET LIVINGROOM CAMP OUT TONIGHT!!!!!

Okay guys, I will admit that I do throw things into drawers in the kitchen, and I have filed some papers and forgot where I put them. (eventually, we do find them). Now, when my hubby can't find something, whether I relocated it or not, or he wants the help or not, I help him look for it. OF course, haven't some of you relocated something of hers, not on purpose, and spaced it out? I have had a couple of things of mine disappear, then found them in his toolbox or his truck. Go figure. By the way DD, didn't you know that a clean desk is a sign of a disturbed mind? BTW, my hubby and I are both a messy and a cleany. We keep things pretty much in their place, and when it gets too disorganized, we do massive cleanups. AmyLee

Oh man, oh man. I'm organized, she's tidy. I'm for, "a place for everything and everything in it's place". She puts stuff "away", but rarely is "away" the same place twice.

Beautiful , there AmyLee , we can all learn from that blissful example . Several of us will be over there , maybe tomorrow .

Hmmm... Now added to the many things I think you may be after reading your posts, I now realize you are also a hopeless romantic. What woman, in her right mind, would pass the opportunity to get her hands on a pink ratchet AND a nice pair of ear buds. It's little wonder why that fine woman is willing to pick up after your sorry ****** and tolerate the crap you lay on her. GOD BLESS YOU, JESSICA. Im not married yet so Karen doesnt hide my stuff yet. Shes actually really good about setting it on the kitchen table and telling me she "didnt know where to put this". Even if I leave it there for a few days she just keeps telling me to put it away. Again...were not married yet. Im sure when we do get married that Ill have to start checking drawers like the rest of you.
