I guess he has a point, the America is so well behaved that even in the hands of a rank amateur, you have to get in way over your head before the bike will scare the pee out of you. It is so well balanced that unintended wheelies and stopies just don't happen. So, if your idea of a "bland" bike is one that you can ride without soiling your nickers.....
