I gotta agree with you there. Overall I think it was a very positive review. He even compared it favorably with Honda which in my eyes is praise indeed. I would have been mighty POed if he had said it was as smooth as a Harley.
Besides, i like bland. Dont want any excitable types around here.

he was pretty careful on how he worded the bland part cause he wrote " for me it is a bit too bland"
I honestly cant stand it when I read a review on something and the writer either trashes it closemindedly or likes it way to much cause hes trying to sell the thing. A fair review is what I look for and I think its what he wrote. If people dont buy it because 1 guy says it'll stall in the rain, then so be it. I honestly dont like the stock america, and I wouldnt have bought one if it wasnt for mine being already customized to my tastes.
