Anyone only reading him will never buy a bike that won't run in the rain.
Before I decided on the Triumph brand (Specifically the America) I did more research than reading one article. WHat I found was more good than bad. As a matter of fact I only found three negative reviews: 1) customer was 6-3 and said he had too much buffeting with the Summer Screen. 2) pipes were buling. 3) customer was 350 and said the bike did not move him like he wanted. None of the above were bad enough to make me not want this bike. I would like to beleive any decent consumer is going to do the same be it reading up on the brand or talking to owners (who none of will disperage the brand). The longer I own my America the more I hate the comparison to any bike cause I just dont feel these bikes can be compared. I like Harleys...actually...I really like Harleys. Always have and always will. I have also always hated having what everyone else has. That said...the review doesnt show how WE the OWNERS feel about our bikes. It shows how someone feels about the bike that rides bigger badder bikes. Its unfortunate that it was raining (more like flooding according to the author) that day. Maybe Triumph should really do something about that kickstand switch! I was looking at mine last night and thinking of bypassing it.
Ill stop now...I feel like Im babbling but Ive writtent his much so there And I love my America! so screw him!
