Here are the pics on that turn signal project I was struggling with.
Took the new light, which on the back of my bike is fed through a hollow bolt and drilled a hole in the back part of the light.
Then used the stock turn signal grommet and the original wiring to plug into the back of the turn signal.
I may eventually replace the original turn signal bracket, but I like the way it looks okay for now. Here are some pictures of the finished project.
