All of the 20th Century Designs have a lot of style, too bad they're limited to HDs as there are other marques with longevity that would benefit from some retro refreshing.

Awe. Reserve not met at $5200.00 and 21 bids. Poor Billy. I guess his signature isnt worth that much anymore.

I tried to warn him I did.

That guy was smoking something if he thought he was going to get $12K. I thought the bidding might get to $6K but I was wrong. It is a clean bike with a couple of nice accessories on it.

Well, I suppose if he really wanted that much for it, he could always use the Van Gough Method of Price Appreciation.

(of course the only problem with that method is once you're dead what good is that increased value really gonna do ya anyway?!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Dwight, are you saying he should kill Billy? Come on man, the bike isn't that overpriced, is it?
Okay, well maybe it is

From a NADA or other pricing guide, deduct $500 for the damage to the rear mudguard and $1000 for the forks. Add for accessories and low mileage.

Seeing he is selling his America gave me that same shaking of the head feeling as when I walk into a dueling piano bar and witness a couple hacks butcher his songs.

The bike has chrome sprocket cover, cam cover, footrests, shroud covers, battery box along with the floorboards. All factory add ons. My bike has all that and a heck of a lot more. I don't think there's any signature I could get on my bike to bring in 12K. It will be interesting to see what they decide to do with only 1/2 their reserve.

So, if I write my name on the fender of my America, I can sell it for 12K? It's already a one off, more so when I sign it. OK, you guys line up and start bidding while I go get the magic marker...

And black light posters too if it was one of those cool shops.
