...I get a crak every once in a while too...Not necessarily the pipes causing it but its till a bit of a shock. My fav was one morning I pulled her out, cranked her and got nothing...I checked my choke, petcock, sloshed the fuel around...gave it another go and it sounded like someone set off a cannon. Cant imagine what the neighbors thought was going on in their nice quiet neighborhood...
oh yea...I wouldnt get rid of em either...
